Food a universal language that connects people no matter who you are or where you are from.
Yes! its about food food food… YAY!
Today since its food.
I would love to share a simple yet the yummiest food recipe of south India though I’m not a food blogger.
Yet I couldn’t resist myself from spreading this recipe.
Because I’m a super big fan of DOSA ❤
For those of you who are confused with the term “Dosa”.
Dosa is a type of pancake from the Indian subcontinent, made from a fermented batter which is kind of similar to the crepe.
For the batter:
2 cups rice
1 cup urad dal
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
oil as required
How to make plain dosa:
Soak rice, dal and fenugreek for 6 hours.
Then grind them to a fine thin batter by adding little water.
Add salt to it and leave it covered for 12 hours for fermentation.
Now heat a non-stick pan and spread 1 tbsp of the batter on the whole of the pan.
Grease all the corners and then cook it on the other side also.
Sprinkle little water on the pan and wipe it with a clean cloth before making each dosa.
Serve them hot with sambhar and chutney.
Go on try it and let me know if you are fan of Dosa too…
